Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the 2025 facelift of its premium hatchback Tata Altroz, bringing in visual upgrades, refined interiors, and new powertrain options. The refreshed Altroz will continue to offer its well-known solid build quality, 5-star safety, and spacious cabin, but now comes with updated LED DRLs, new projector headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, and stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels. The design tweaks give it a more aggressive and sporty stance, appealing to younger buyers seeking both practicality and style.
Turbo-Petrol, NA Petrol & CNG Powertrains
The Altroz 2025 is expected to continue with its 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2L turbo-petrol, and 1.2L iCNG options. The turbocharged variant remains the most exciting, producing 110 PS and 140 Nm, ideal for spirited driving. The NA petrol variant is perfect for daily city commutes with impressive mileage, while the CNG version continues to offer cost-effective fuel economy of over 26–27 km/kg. Tata may also enhance transmission options, with a DCA automatic gearbox likely offered in more variants this time.
Interior & Feature Upgrades
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Altroz facelift is expected to offer premium finishes with a redesigned dashboard layout, new upholstery, and upgraded infotainment. A 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, and a voice-activated sunroof could be available in top trims. Tata will also enhance the connected car features and software responsiveness to stay competitive in its segment.
Safety and Platform Strength Retained
Built on the ALFA architecture, the Altroz continues to offer best-in-class safety, with 5-star Global NCAP crash rating. The facelifted model will likely come with 6 airbags in top variants, along with ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, and rear camera with dynamic guidelines. Tata is expected to further tune the ride and handling characteristics for better comfort and stability.
Tata Altroz 2025 Launch & Price in India
The Tata Altroz 2025 is expected to launch in early 2025, with pricing starting from around ₹6.99 lakh to ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variant and powertrain. It will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, and Honda Jazz (if reintroduced). With sharper looks, strong safety, multiple fuel options, and updated features, the Altroz facelift could further strengthen Tata’s presence in the premium hatchback segment.
